I'm a solo web designer and I feel like I'm reinventing the wheel with every new client - different process each time, sometimes I forget to ask something important. Should I hire a VA to help organize this?

I'm a solo web designer and I feel like I'm reinventing the wheel with every new client - different process each time, sometimes I forget to ask something important. Should I hire a VA to help organize this?
Before adding a VA, this sounds like a documentation gap more than a headcount gap - if the process varies each time and things get missed, a simple written intake SOP would likely fix most of this on its own: a fixed list of questions you ask every new client, in the same order, plus what you send them at each stage.
That's a one-time, maybe hour-long task to write down what you already do well when you remember to, turned into something consistent.
Once that's solid, a VA (if you still want one later) would actually have something concrete to follow instead of your undocumented judgment calls.
