Just be encouraging and praise your child for trying hard - a growth mindset makes a big difference! Make sure they finish their homework every night.

It's understandable why you're doing it - watching her get frustrated is hard to sit through - but walking her through each problem is exactly the kind of controlling involvement the research finds predicts worse motivation and more avoidance over time, even though it reduces frustration in the moment.
A more autonomy-supportive version: let her attempt the full problem on her own first, even if it takes longer or she gets stuck, then ask a specific guiding question about wherever she got stuck rather than showing her the step.
